i remember playing the arcade version of Rygar at the rollerskating rink when i was younger, but it was the NES version that i found most fun.

Nice figure. I think the price is reasonable for the time and effort put into it

yes, a lot of time, work, and love goes into making one of these. this one cost me $30 in parts alone, so $50 as a starting bid is really fair.
thanks for the comments guys!
here's something that will be popping up in Nintendo Power this month or next.
the cast of NES's 1986 Pro Wrestling

I saw your thread at Gametz, your figures are awesome (as you're well aware). (:

A Starman figure, about time he got some respect.
His flying elbow/whatever is still hilarious!

Those are pretty awesome. For a while I was collecting custom Star Wars figures, both of characters that were in the films and ones that weren't. (My favorite was "Darth Brooks" aka "Garth Vader" who came with a cowboy hat, beer bottle, and vinyl album ...) In the beginning I was collecting them because I wanted specific figures that Lucas hadn't made yet. I should have just waited because by now I think every single character from Star Wars has made it into figure form.
Wow, I want both those sets, amazing.

Awesome figures.
Does anyone else think that Starman looks a lot like a Zeo Power Ranger?
Off topic but there never was a sequel to Pro Wresting with the same wrestlers, was there?

You should post the photos of your Donkey Kong figures too.

Awesome!
I have a friend who does this is the McFarland hockey figures. He buys generic ones and redoes them as other players. He's even made and sent some to current NHL players and gotten personal thank you letters back, they were so impressed.
Awesome work on this stuff!!!

I second Mega Man, but only if you recreate the Mega Man 2 box art in a scene like the Donkey Kong one.

Off-topic but is Donkey Kong a Gigantopithecus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gigantopithecus)? No modern gorilla is over 6 feet tall. Yeah I'm a geek. :)
