Whats the difference between these 2 versions of midway arcade treasures? Do they just have different artwork or are they different games. Thanks

Same game. The second cover is a rerelease made to match volumes 2 and 3.

It's also somewhat interesting to note that the manual and disc are the exactly the same in both versions. The box art itself is the only difference.

The trouble is deciding if you would rather have a matching set, the first release, or both.

Wow, the 2nd release is higher them the 1st release..It just the same game with a new coat of piant matching MAT 2 & 3

You got stiffed then. The rerelease of MAT1 has booklet artwork matching the change and the art on the disc is different. Guess whoever sold you that copy used a booklet and disc from the original MAT1 release.

Actually, I bought mine new. However, after making my previous post I remembered that my copy of MAT1 is for Xbox and not Gamecube. Perhaps they just did it differently for different systems?

That's odd... I've been active in the Gamecube scene since launch and never knew about this variant. Is the Rubik's Cube boxart really more valuable than the original?
