well, I'm the kind of guy who always has to have some kind of project.
recently, i saw some translated dragon quest carts for the snes, and that got me thinking, what about other games?
so i find that there's a whole bunch of stuff about releasing nes games that never made it out, as well as flashing chips and replacing them in japanese sfc games.
so, my question is, now that i have motivation, what do i need to get a translated snes game?
from my research i've found out the following:
i'll need a copy of the game (or one with the same board layout, at least)
an eeprom chip that has the translated/hacked/unreleased ROM flashed to it.
soldering skill(how hard is it, really?)
i also lack a pic programmer, can anyone recommend a programmer, or someplace that can do it for me?
