View Full Version : Genesis II has lots of video noise

I want to try to fix my system but will replace it if needed but it makes a loud buzzing sound from the TVs speakers now. It seems like the brighter the screen the more noise I hear and it drones out the real audio. If this an RF problem or a problem with the solder joints on the video connection on the unit? It happened with the Genesis II AV cables as well.

I had this same problem awhile back and it went away when I swapped out the AV cables that I was using for a different set. Try doing that first if you can and hopefully it'll fix your problem.

Also try on a different TV. Some TVs just kind of suck.

It's not the TV, it only recently started doing it and has worked on that TV long before that.

Bad cable or a TV problem can cause that. Try another TV if you have one in the house as they really can go bad.
