So by now you've probably been wondering. WHY does she need 1000 FREE common Atari 2600 games? It's time to reveal one of our secret projects.
The game, as they say, is afoot!
While last year's "Dig Dug Drop" event was frantic fun, we've got something extra-special in store for everyone in attendance this year. While supplies last, we will be handing out Atari 2600 cartridges to everyone who enters the Expo. Don't get too excited about this part - they're among the most common in the library.
However... some lucky guests will have a very special surprise when they plug it into an Atari 2600. The game will tell them that they are winners! Prizes will include games, systems, accessories, T-shirts, and more. Further, when the prize is claimed for redemption, we will replace the common game cart shell with a commemorative CGE 2003 shell and custom label.

You see, in order to capture the thrill.... the "physical challenge", if you will, of the Dig Dug Drop, guests will be on their own to find a 2600 to try it out on! It will be PURE MAYHEM, baby!
Or... maybe we'll just have a few around. Wait and see!

Personally, I'd replace the ROM you're using with the kickass Duke Nukem Forever 2600 ROM that's up for grabs at 3drealms. You've only got to do this to a couple, right? Just a thought, if you haven't finished them yet.

I know some people were leery about donating carts, but I was being completely honest when I said I wasn't profiting at all (and in some cases, taking a loss as I'm paying for shipping!)
So, if there's anyone out there who had thought about it, but still had misgivings, please! I'm still looking for more carts! :) I'll love you forever! Heh

If anybody gets a Shootin' Gallery as a door prize, don't panic! I bought a dead one at the Philly Classic, so "no" it's not a common cart but "yes" it's common enough to be recycled as a free giveaway. You may think you're getting a rare game, but you'll probably get something even better - a cool prize. :D
