Just received a "Sealed" persona 2 off ebay, the seller
didn't had any pics, and has sold quite a few at $89.95.
First off it arrived in a small flat rate priority box, loose inside
no protection whatsoever, it sounds something is loose inside
my friend tells me its the manual since i can hear it if I move the case
to the sides. Second, it had a long scuff line on the
front. Third it has no label on the top (i don't know if these came
with those). And lastly the back insert is upside down.
What do you think ? thanks

here are the pics, sorry bout the pic quality.

A bunch of new copies of this were apparently reprinted recently and appeared on Amazon. They didn't last very long, by the time I heard about it I'd already missed out. This could be from that batch.

It's still hella rare and highly sought after. Seriously, when the new batch came out it was gone before you could turn around. It's one of the few PSX games I'm willing to pay up to $50 for, the others being the Tales of Destiny and Tales of Eternia games.

Just to be clear, the reprint was from Atlus, not some rogue operator.

Yep, most of the copies were bought out by sleazy eBay resellers.

This is one of the GQD reprints that sprung up a few years ago (when GameStop still accepted PS games used). GQD reprinted these without the spine stickers because Sony's policy on requiring those stickers ended, thus these reprints (Rhapsody, Saiuki: Journey West also got this treatment) came without them. GQD sold a good number on their site and the other portion were sold to GameStop who took the shrink off and immedately sold them as used in their stores.

The game is sought after, but it is not 'hella rare' thanks to it's reprint.

Any difference on the cd label or manual from the original? something you can tell them appart from?

Nope, they're exactly the same, except for the sticker seal being missing.
