These are two items I picked up while staying in Japan a few years back. Not actually games, but very gaming-related. (click on pictures for larger images)

Rez LP

Vinyl video game music's cool, right? I picked up five, mailed off four to the states and kept one for myself. Big fan of the game and music, never got around to listening to it.

Not the original Collector's BOX, but the re-released version. The day before I picked this up I found a laser disc player and ten Cardcaptor Sakura discs in the street garbage. The player worked fine and the anime was cool, but I wanted something else on my shelf to offset the sheer girlyness. I found this SF2 box dealie on sale for 780 yen and decided the soundtracks alone were worth the price.

Giant 2'x3' poster, three SF2 soundtracks. One (Perfect Original) has the music as heard in the arcade game, one (Vocal Arrange) is the character themes with added lyrics, the last (Instrumental Arrange) is the music played by actual instruments (not an arcade cabinet's synthesizer chip). Torrents of these are available if you've never heard them, and the Bison/Balrog song is... spectacular.

Two Laser Discs with hours of tournament footage, interviews, combos and such cool videos. It was pretty cool because I'd never seen competitive SF2 play footage before. One Laser Disc covers SF II and SF II', the other SFII Turbo, both are about an hour long. Also has a 16-page booklet with the song lyrics, 1991's character art and more SFII game information.

Because they are vinyl and laser disc, they're not practical to own other than bragging rights. I'm not looking to sell them (no offers, please) but just curious what they might be worth (compared to the $15 and $8 I paid for them, that is).

No idea. Very cool items though.

If you're not selling they're most likely worth 15$ and 8$.
