Has anybody else seen/heard anything about this pirated game: http://www.snescentral.com/article.php?id=0817

Are there any ROM images or screenshots of this. I'm just wondering because I love this game and the Joe and Mac series to death :p

Not sure if there are any differences in the pirated copy, but I too love this game and the Joe & Mac series. Congo's Caper gets little love or attention, so I'm happy to see it discussed here.

At Congo's Caper I used to be amazing. Almost always after I become super/flashing it stayed that way (taking nearly any hits) until the end of the game. Usually I'd get around 99 lives also before the final rounds.

Last time I spoke with Gamergary, he still had it. I haven't seen him in years, though. I am pretty sure he said it is identical to the Japanese version of the game.

I'm still trying to find an affordable copy of Congo's Caper. I remember reading about it in Nintendo Power's Super NES Guide and it looked like a lot of fun. Someday...

Well you could look on Ebay, it has a rarity of about 4 on the DP online guide but my copy was about 10 dollars and I bought it at a Slackers Cds and Games store in St.Charles. I think they may have more copies if you live around here.

Thanks I was dying to know if it was a hacked/modded Congo's Caper or unofficial sequel or something. That's a bit dissapointing but it satisfied my curiosity.

Loved Congo's Caper... didn't know too many people that played it.

Having a copy for the SNES would be great.
