Ben Heckendorn, whether you like what the guy does or not, there's something very very impressive about designing and building your own pinball machine from scratch. Not gutting and re-skinning an old table ... but literally designing the playfield, writing the code for the sounds, music, events, led display, etc and machining the entire thing ... it's downright staggering IMO.
If you're not familiar with the bizarre and spectacular pet project of the guy who makes portable Atari 2600s and Laptop Commodore 64s and XBOX 360s the entire development saga is here: http://benheck.com/03-16-2010/bill-paxton-pinball

Brilliant, I say.

This guy better get to meet Bill Paxton after all that work. That's the least he's earned.

The people this guy runs into have something against Bill Paxton obviously.

There's plenty of Frailty references and features!

The only thing more epic would be a Gary Busey arcade cab.

That sounds like it could be more dangerous to the user than playing Polybius.

It makes me think of the guy who redesigned and rebuilt an old broken down pinball to make it into a Futurama theme. I wouldn't know the first thing on going about making something like that.

That may be the coolest thing ever created.

The control panel would be just his teeth. You bang on them like Whac A Mole or Boonga Boonga.

Maybe it could be made into a musical teeth game of some sort...

Win.
Now that you mention it, I'm really surprised the sumbitch doesn't have one made for him. A Gary Busey videogame needs to be made. Now.
