I'm not exactly sure if this is worth anything, or even deserves its own topic, or belongs on this forum.
Basically, I was looking around a blockbuster that was going out of business. Every movie was $10, which is ridiculous. Whilst looking at games, I happen to notice 2 CIB gameboy games. One is "rolan's curse" which I never heard of, the other is TMNT: Fall of the foot clan. They were $30 each.
Not only CIB, they were sealed.
I asked at the counter, and they said that they came from the corporate office and were asked to sell them.
After thinking for awhile, I decided to buy tmnt.
Good decision? Bad decision? Should I bother keeping it sealed? Would the other choice be better?
EDIT: I just realized this is under modern gaming. Sorry. Move this to the correct forum, please.

Honestly, that is not too bad.
That is about what any store would have charged for it new back in the day. It is not going up in price if it sells for that, but it is also not going down in price.
I would say that since it is a retail store that is selling it, it is technically not a bad deal, but it is also not a good deal.
It is exactly how much it was retail.

Go back and buy Rolan's Curse! A sealed copy went for $50 recently.
$30 is actually a good deal for TMNT if you don't plan to open it.
The crazy thing is they were at a Blockbuster. I think I'll have to check my local one for good measure.

I'm going to contact them, and ask what they plan on doing with everything that doesn't sell, when they officially close. And ask if they'd give or sell me it for a discount on the last day if it doesn't sell. I doubt they'll comply, but still, its worth a shot.

CIB Gameboy games alone are hard to find, let alone sealed. I'd make sure it's not a reseal first though.

Sealed Rolan's Curse for $30 is a good deal. It's a decent game. Too bad it's not a sealed Rolan's Curse 2 for $30 though. Game is amazing. If I didn't already own it I'd open the game and play it(considering that I found a sealed copy also.)

I stopped at a closing BB today and they didn't have anything of the sort. Worth a shot.

How do I make sure?
I went back to the store tonight.
They said that everythings 10% off, and it'll be 20% off starting tomorrow, then 30% next week, and 10% more every week til they close april 18th.
I'm going to the bank after school tomorrow to see what I have in my savings account. Depending on how much I have, I'll probably get enough out to buy it.

I went back to the store today and bought rolan's curse, I'm probably going to keep it and not sell it. I'm definitely not opening either games.
