I'll have about 30 dollars to spend I'm looking for something I can get on Ebay or Amazon shipped. Also if there is a top SNES games thread can someone lead me too it? If requested i will post my current collection. Instead of Genesis, I am now obsessed with SNES lol.

For my 30 bucks it'd probably be Legend of the Mystical Ninja and Super Metroid.

EDIT: But I see you already have Super Metroid.

There's a million of these topics. What you should do is find someone selling a lot of SNES games and get them to combine shipping so you can get several good but cheap ones. I'd suggest Spike McFang, Run Saber, Operation Logic Bomb, Super Smash TV, Magic Sword, Brain Lord, Illusion of Gaia...

Top Gear is dirt cheap and the best 16 bit racer.

Capcom's Soccer Shootout is the greatest sports game of all time. Did not see it on your list. Very disappointing.

Where can I get a few games for 30? Also I don't know any cheap good SNES games, all I know are the big name titles.

This is probably under 30 dollars but...

*PLOK (excellent platformer, not too hard to find)
*Super Bonk (Borderline Rare, costed 15 dollars for me)
*Super Mario World (They overprice it where I live but online it may be cheaper)
*Donkey Kong Country 2 (easy if you're only getting the cartridge)
*Super Adventure Island (get it cheap, very short game)

I looked through your list and decided that you really need Battletoads & Double Dragon. It would complete your collection, believe me! Theres one for only 13 dollars on eBay.

Those are part of a loosely related trilogy. The third title after Illusion of Gaia is Terranigma, in PAL regions, or Tenchi Souzou in Japan. It wasn't released in North America. I imported the SFC version so now all I need is Soul Blazer to have all three. I'm just glad it'll be easier to get since it's actually in the States.

Figured it's worth noting, not sure if you're willing to take that route though just for the sake of completing the set. Tenchi Souzou is my favorite of the three for sure though. :D

I just listed several good cheap SNES games. When you figure in shipping, you won't be able to get more than Soul Blazer or R&R Racing, but if you find someone doing actual auctions you can luck out and get three or four of the games I listed. I'm sure other people know a lot more cheap ones, those were just off the top of my head.

And I also vouch for that one. Like mobius mentioned, it's not really cheap but it's one of my favorites and completely worth owning.

Someone also suggested Legend of the Mystical Ninja. That's another one of my favorites

Someone else started an "SNES recommendations" thread earlier this month (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=141802), and I'm going to copy and paste the response I made in there.

Well one rarelly mentioned is Illusion of gaia. It's a great RPG, and if you can get it CIB, it will come with an awesome map/enemy list.

Also mickey mania is a cheap, cheap game that doesnt get enough attention. Some of the best graphics on the system and you sidescroll trough the classic Mickey-cartoons, starting with a black and white level of steamboat willie. You rarelly see that. Highly recommended.

Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia are excellent choices.

As FoxNtd said Terranigma, the third entry of the trilogy (if you aren't including the Granstream Saga), is only available in English through the PAL format.

If you ever want to complete the set in English it will most likely cost you a pretty penny.

Have you played CT and do you like it? I personally don't care for it, and I know I'm not alone. For the price, I'd rather have Super Mario RPG, Secret of Mana, Breath of Fire II, Final Fantasy III or any number of other games.

Of course many people consider it to be the best RPG on the system...

Some great games I see missing from your list:

-Super Turrican I and II (both are exceptional games, with the 2nd one being one of the most visually impressive games on the platform).
-Contra III (another run'n'gun, arguably the finest example of its genre)
-Tetris Attack (easily the best puzzle game I've played. The multiplayer especially is excellent)
-Another World/Out of this World (the main inspiration behind games like Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, a timeless classic)
-Flashback (in a similar vein with Another World, although its structure is closer to that of 2d Prince of Persia)
-Prince of Persia (arguably the best version of this classic)
-Demons Crest (another often overlooked platform/adventure gem)
-Earthworm Jim (wacky and diverse platform-action)
-Ghouls and Ghosts (you probably know this one already)
-Gods (basically an Amiga game, still interesting mix of action and puzzles)
-Skyblazer (another criminally overlooked action platformer)

Those should keep you busy for a while :)

I just found out the other day that Ghoul Patrol was the sequel to Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Ghoul Patrol isn't as good though. I would definitely second Zombies Ate My Neighbors as one of the all-time great SNES games.
