It is my intention to split the modern rarity list, currently maintained here in the collecting forum, into four seperate lists. Of course, that means a list for each active system (PS2, X-Box, GCN, and GBA).

The format will not change, but I believe that breaking up the lists into seperate catagories will better serve the collecting community at large. These lists will remain a group effort... we can't determine rarity without the help of all of you, so please remain active and observant. Keep your eyes and ears open for information on print runs, and of course we need your observations as to what games you simply can't find in general.

I will personally be moderating the Gamecube list. I'm looking for three people, one for each remaining catagory, to moderate the other lists. You should be a big fan of the system you want to moderate, plus you should be able to mantain the list and make updates at least every couple months.

The new Gamecube list will be out next week, which will have many, many, many more games listed. I will maintain the other systems as best as I can until someone else takes over each.

I would have no problem doing a list for the PS2, I am a massive fan of it, though I am unaware of all the details you need, do you just need to know which games are harder to find, ect? Is that all? Please PM me and give me details, I have nothing else better to do, I would be glad to help out! :)

I can easily handle the xbox section. I subscribe to the major xbox mags here and in the uk. I am also a major seller and buyer on ebay, and keep up with the xbox scene.

You might as well lead the project - I don't think Charlie is coming back.

A simple list of "what may be rare or in short supply" would suffice, and you might want to separate US and non-US titles. You can post it right here, check back on the thread every so often and update it periodically.

Same for GC and PS2, if anyone wants to champion "modern rares" lists for those, go ahead and start 'em up! Everyone else will assist.

I might be willing to do the GCN list. I'm subscribed to a few mags and try to keep with gaming news and websites the best I can.

Also does anybody have any idea the rarity of the GCN game "Donal Duck : Who is PK?". I'm assuming that it's at least partily rare as the other PK games were but can anybody confirm this?

dont forget that ncaa college basketball 2k3 is a fairly tough one to find for the gc as it was recalled i believe. Also, i have had no trouble finding frogger beyond for the gc. Others i have had a tough time finding for the gc are Go! Go! Hypergrind (released 10/18/2003), cubivore (obivously) and battlebots. I was also wondering if you knew any info on Barbarian for the GC as i have little if nothing on it (a mention in a NP and one website). Same with battlebots, any info there would be great as well.

I've got more hands-on experience with the GameCube, but I can probably help out with the PS2 and GBA lists.

(Oh God...did I just volunteer for the PS2? x_x )
