I mean, they've got some great games ... but some of those prices are surely insane? £30 ($50) for Gaiares?? Light Crusader £80 ($120)???? Steel Empire £110 ($160)?!?!?!?!

I mean, some of their other prices seem kind of reasonable, but things like the above are just nuts... and Jap Treasure Land Adventure for £65 ($100) is laughable. There is a guy on Ebay who has been selling copies of that for $10 plus postage from Thailand for the last couple of years. I bought one, and it was pretty much brand new, as far as I could tell.

How much is Steel Empire *really* worth? Surely not much, as it was released in the US and Europe, without any changes as far as I am aware.

I'll ship you those genesis games. What do you have cheap in the UK that I might like. I even would like some unique PAL NES games.

I generally like VGI and have bought from them a few times but a few of their prices are a little high for my liking.

I think the Jap version of Steel Empire is rare. It may be the same as the common European version gameplay wise but I can only imagine that it was produced is smaller quantities.

I imagine that only the perfectionists out to collect every Jap MD cart would be interested anyway.

I already have Light Crusader, and I actually picked up a Japanese copy of Steel Empire the other week, which was why I was so shocked that they were selling it for £110!!!

But it is true, some of VGIs prices are OK, I just picked on some of the most ridiculous ones. It seems that their prices are mostly ok, if a little over what I might normally pay .. but for the rarer games, they just go wacko!

Still, I notice they are setting up a system whereby they accept trade-ins so I might see what I can get for my Steel Empire :D

I'm quite happy to look out UK stuff for people, if they can trade me anything I want. But I have to say I don't know much about the NES / SNES market - Sega is my scene, and a bit of Sony. But I'll look out for anything that people ask for. I have a list of UK Megadrive releases that didn't come out in the US. And I think I have a similar list for the Dreamcast somewhere.

Just PM me.
