okay so I got this nes hotseat . I have put it up on ebay a few times but as of right now i only have it on craigslist in portland oregon. Basiccly im trying to generate some intrest in it and see about selling it possibly.A few questions I have are 1 how many were made. 2 how much is it worth. 3 should I waste my time reposting it on ebay??? thanks digitpress!!!:frustrated:

Up for sale. My very rare HOT SEAT by power inc for the Nintendo NES.This chair has the control which acts/works like the normal control for the nes.The base of the chair is rubberized and will move your plane in the direction you lean!!!! This thing is really fun to play on and very innovative for the time.I have found 1 person who has one as their prized possession for the nes.Currently set up for right hand joystick play but as you can see from the photos it can be set to left hand play.button configuration is index finger trigger, thumb trigger, start, select and auto fire on/off.Condition is excellent , works wonderfully.

Wow, I just saw your ad while I was browsing Craigslist, and when I searched for info, I find this. I'd be very interested, but I won't commit to buying it until I hear what it's worth. This forum is usually pretty good with this stuff, so I hope we can get confirmation on this thing soon.

The DP database entry come from the one i found 5 years ago at my local flea.

Neat oddity in the NES, i don't have it anymore, but i tried to play SMB1 with it and even Top Gun and it was a pain.

does anyone think those first 2 posts were made from the same people?

Yeah, going to basically guarantee they were both made from the same person.

That sounds a totally amazing product. I would bid hundreds or thousands for such a rare item. Something something stadium events. :bullshit:

That was the first thing I thought. No doubt in my mind.

Still, interesting product if it's for real. I seem to remember seeing something like this on display at SEARS when I was a kid. Did anyone ever own one?

Sounds about right. Shouldn't the guy be using his two accounts to generate hype for it in the What its worth section ?

That would only work if he had two accounts.

Notice the repetitive use of the word "this" is both posts. If it is one author, he/she has gone to great lengths to make the styles of each post appear different, especially in punctuation and spelling, but perhaps couldn't help but betray an inability to offer variety.

People have to much time on their hands to figure out if 2 posts are from the same people. What was this thread about again?

No. You had it right the first time. It's about the possibility of 2 posts being written by 2 different accounts by the same person. They're shilling a baby car seat or some hand towels. I don't know. Does that matter?

I've seen this chair re-listed on the Portland Craigslist many many times, and I think that nobody is buying it because you're asking too much for it. The price of $200 is much better than the $350 you were asking, but I think a more realistic price would be $100.

Sure it's rare, but not very desirable.

Meh.

This person contacted me about his seat. It was on craigslist for $1000 years ago. I told him it is valued at probably around $200. I told him to post on Nintendoage as well. His inability to sell the item speaks volumes.

it'd only be worth it if it had a hole in it so i can shit while playing too.

His repeated use of the Arial font is highly suspect as well.
