I know this probably isn't the "help" topic- but I need some advice on passing round four of the game, the one with the asteroids-esque gameplay. Are there any "hiding spots" where you can stay put and continue to fire bullets or homing missiles at everything? I do great up until this round, and then lose every life I have usually even before the boss. I know there are cheats but I usually don't like to cheat on the old games.

I just used a rapid fire controller and it was easy. you really just have to do that or push the buttons really fast, but it you don't have fast fingers, stick with rapid fire controllers.

This is one of my all-time favorite games!
The asteroid stage is the hardest in the game, back in the days I used to always stack up as many lives possible just so I could lose them all in that stage and barely survive.
The hardest part is the beginning really, the boss you can finish off with the homing missiles while hiding underneath him and that goes for the part with the UFOs as well. The beginning part with the stones doesnt end until you destroyed all the stones and you just have to learn how to dash quickly there but its tough. This stage just takes a lot of practise basically and I personally still lose 2 or 3 lives there usually.
