I got a 7800 without a video cable.

I tried using the NES video cable, and it isn't working. I assume it'd be able to...any suggestions?

Get an RCA cable, plug it into your 7800 and plug the other end to your TV using this thing: http://atariace.com/images/atariace.com/atari/images/rca-coax-rf-adapter.jpg

It's an RCA to coax adapter. The video signal off the 7800 is too weak for the NES RF box, so the only way to get it to work on your TV is either with an RCA cable plugged into your TV with an RCA to coax adapter or an RCA cable plugged into one of those manual switchboxes.

Radio Shack sells those "RCA to coax adapters" for about $3. They give you great picture quality and is the best way to go.
