Hey,

A few weeks ago I was playing Bubble Bobble with a friend and at some point I stepped on the joypad wire and the console moved. Not sure if this happened because of the joypad connector or the cart that moved... but this is what showed up:

It was stuck like that, buttons didn't work and I had to reboot. Really sorry about the extra blurriness, but I was not sober and thought the pic was taken correctly.

Above the Taito logo were some random letters and numbers, like a debug code or something like that. Google didn't help me so maybe someone here knows?

I had something like this happen with sonic 1 genesis once, however i was playing normally without any cheats and i ran into a pit and the screen shifted slightly with a whole paragraph of address error XXXX *numbers letters* X4 or 5 lines.

i think i meant, "you fucked it up."

Hum I see, no cheats here either, just using the Master System Converter. This screen looks intentional though.

I had a simmilar issue with mortal kombat 2 on genesis, there could well be some "unobtainable" way to enter a debug mode simmilar to zanac that can only be accidnetly found by "frying" the system just like you did by acident.

That's pretty nice, do you have a picture of the Zanac one? What happened on your Mortal Kombat II?

I do have pictures of the zanac one somewhere, but its easy to enable.

you need a toaster nes put the game in and turn it on, then slowly lift the cartridge up (very slowly) till the screen garbles a bit (might take a few tries) then push it down again and it should enable the debug mode.

mortal kombat had a blue screen with lots of hex code and the like, my picture was pretty awfull (didn't have a good camera at the time)

The Zanac one is actually *supposed* to be enabled with the Famicom keyboard.

I've had a similar instance with my copy of Paper Mario. After completing the game totally I'd randomly get debug offsets or the game would freeze while the music is playing with weird colors whenever I'd play.

I also had something weird while playing my gold Xevious cart on my Famicom giving me extra lives.
