Just bought an Snes Jr. of ebay Power buttion is broken

Hi Guys, I just bought and SNES jr. off ebay and the power button feels like it isn't attach to anything i can move it up and down way to easily. I am wondering if it was damaged in shipping or if the guy tried to cheat me. The snes jr. isn't a fake, I checked, but it won't turn on no matter what i do. Kind of hoping for an easy fix. Any help is greatly appreciated Thank you in Advance

yea i figured thats what would have to happen dont have the tools till i go back to my parents house this saturday. ; ; Is it far to assume that no one has had this problem before?

Try posting in the technical and restoration forum, you might have better luck there.

Oh, I've had the problem before...but I returned mine and got another, working model back when the original SNES was being sold. It's possible the switch is just broken, but it'd be best to try in the Tech & Restoration forum as mentioned.
