I'm not sure where to go with this one, does anyone know where I can find an adapter so I can use my Dance Pads and other such PS2 peripherals with my 60gb PS3. I tried to find previous threads but didn't see any.
Oh, I saw this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/PS2-TO-PS3-PC-USB-GAME-CONTROLLER-CONVERTER-ADAPTER_W0QQitemZ350236665567QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVi deo_Games_Accessories?hash=item518bbb66df) and thought it would be a good one. But my questions stems from knowing some + guitar hero will brick a PS3. I want to avoid this.

This is the one I bought 3 years ago...
Review (http://www.joystiq.com/2007/05/11/review-pelican-ps2-to-ps3-controller-adapter/)
Pelican usually is synonymous with shit, but this adapter allowed me to use my PS2 HRAP on my PS3...which is the only reason I bought it. I should add that I've only used the HRAP with PS2 games (my PS3 is the old 60 gig fatty). I have no idea if it would work on PS3 games.

Good question. DDR for PS3 is coming out later this year and I'll eventually need to get an adapter for my PS3 slim + cobalt flux. I know lag can be an issue with PC adapters, so I imagine it'd be the same for console adapters too. If Konami were smart, they'd put in a tighter timing adjustment in like they did with IIDX Empress instead of the standard one they've been using in their DDR games for years.

The PS3 supports generic USB devices, so you might have luck trying one of the USB adapters (http://www.stepmania.com/wiki/USB_Adapters) recommended on the Stepmania site. However, you can't use generic USB adapters with PS2 games on PS3.

They sell PS2 to USB adapters and they're cheap as hell. Buy a few. One'll work.

At least for me, I've never had a problem with their products. You want pieces of crap for products? Try CTA. I've purchased a few of their shit (since they were cheap) and ALL but ONE has been decent (Wii Component Cables), as the rest were pure trash (the last one being the Wii docking station, which is worse than shit...).
Intec also has quite a few products that are terrible as well. Controllers with faulty connectors, chargers...you name it.
Pelican has, for the most part, worked great for me, as I've never had any issues with their products.
I need to check out those adapters to see if they work.

Let me know if you find any, I haven't seen any as of yet. so far I'm still flying blindly.. Although I did see this (http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.30475) no reviews though. So I'm weary.
