Metal Gear Solid in a long box

I have never seen this version, can someone who has it explain when this box version was released or have any other info? Just a side note, I wish I had a girlfriend like "JohnnyDeppFan1433" though the drawback is we would spend wayyyy too much money.

That is the MGS Essentials collection version of the game.

That MGS is just in a DVD case and is part of the MGS Essentials set that was released about 2 years ago.

Yeah, like they've said, it was just the MGS case from the Essentials box set for PS2. The weird thing about it though is that (as I understand it) that you still need to use an original PS1 memory card for it if you play it on your PS2. I mean, I know that it's the case with all existing PS1 games played on the PS2, but this one was a PS2 re-release.


Are these good to pick up? Wal Mart has them here local for like $20.Unquestionably; if you don't already have them, anyway. It's still an excellent deal, IMO.
