Do you think this game will actually be good?

At this point I don't really even care. The game has been pushed back so many times now that any interest I had in it got left back with its 'fall 09' release window. I'm sure it'll be more of the same Splinter Cell that we've played over the last 4 games.

I played the demo and half-heartedly enjoyed it. I much prefer games were I can run out and kill mofos without restrictions. Having a stealth level every now and then is ok but having the entire game that way just isn't my thing.

Bought the new splinter cell today and its AWESOME!
It feels like Pandora Tomorrow with next gen graphics!

Hmmm, so the single player is lackluster compared to Chaos Theory and the original, but adds great multiplayer?

Great game. I've always been a fan of the Splinter Cell series and this installment makes me a happy man.

No the single player is actually very good and has a compelling story. I referenced it to Pandora Tomorrow in terms of gameplay. There's also several new features that make the game a lot 'faster' like the Execute command and several new gadgets that temporarily disable electricity.
This is probably my favorite Splinter Cell to date and I was very skeptical about the game being good before its release.
By the way, the multiplayer is very good too!
