Hello! Somewhat new here, and I'm not sure if this is in the correct section, but here goes. Trying to build up my Nintendo power collection. Was wondering if there is any known way to remove the mailing address stickers from older (or newer) Nintendo power mags WITHOUT causing damage! I tried a hairdryer on high but this didn't really seem to work.
A side note - I recently resubscribed to the magazine and asked if there was any way to get the mags sent to me without the label (like the newsstand copies!), however all they said to me was this is unheard of.
Any input will help - Thanks

This is not guaranteed to work but if you're really careful it might do the trick. I've done careful peeling and using Goo Gone on the residual leftovers successfully on cardboard boxes and even DVD inserts without damaging the artwork. I'm not sure if there is anything else you can try that will give you a better chance of success...

I wonder if heating the label with an iron would cause the glue to become more liquidy, making it easy to peel off. Of course, this could also leave a burn mark.

Not if you cut an address label sized hole in something that won't burn and put it over the magazine. Sounds like it could work though, but I'd test it on some other magazine first to be on the safe side.
And be careful with Goo Gone, that stuff can make a mess.
