Discussion regarding Blockbuster World Video Game Championship II

I made a post in the auction thread regarding the game being on eBay. Not posting the link in this thread as I'm just doubling the posts, but I feel this deserves to be a discussion in the classic gaming area since this is hardly ever posted on eBay and few on it. Anyone know the seller? Is it DreamTR?

Yeah, I'll eat my hat if it sells for even half that (don't worry, it's a small hat), but it is a cool cartridge.

For whatever reason, things like the NWC and BB cartridges don't hold a lot of appeal for me, despite my actively collecting for both systems. I think it's because I didn't attend either event; they don't hold a lot of sentimental value for me. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat if I found one "in the wild", but I don't have any desire to chase one.

The one listed on Ebay has basketball and Judge Dredd on it, right? Was there ever more than one cartridge used in the event -- that is, one with different games on it? 'Cause if not, ew.

Why didn't you just bump one of the Blockbuster Comp cart threads that are already running on the forums? You posted in this thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=65096) 4 days ago. Started this thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=142098)a month ago, started this thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=96107)3 years ago that had fresh posts in it as recently as 9 months ago, started this thread (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=132993) at almost the same time as the last mentioned one, calling it something different and that was just in the first 2 pages of results I did with 'Blockbuster' mentioned in any post.
