Warcraft 2 Tides of Darkness

I use to play Warcraft 2 a lot. I wanted to go back and play it, but it seems it doesn't work in OS X.

Does anyone have any idea how I can play this old game on a modern computer?

Warcraft 2 was originally a DOS/System 7 game. Dosbox will take care of it on both Windows and OS X for the DOS version. You'd have to find some kind of emulator for old Mac systems or an actual old Mac to play the System 7 version. I think there were hybrid discs that had both versions on them though, so you may be able to find one of those and have both in one shot.

I really don't know if this would help you out or not but it wouldn't hurt to look into the Warcraft 2 Battle.net edition.

The Battle.net edition should work on a modern OS

battle.net edition works great for me on XP for sure.
