I picked this up a few years ago and just found it yesterday. I was wondering a few things. First being is it worth anything money wise or to any one? If its not out there already is there any way or interest in the ROM of it? Not sure if a demo is worth playing but if I remember right it was fun for some quick run throughs.
I don't think it required the expansion ram pack to run but I don't have a N64 without a RAM pack right now to test it with. Please let me know what you guys think!

Later.

I guess the first thing to note is that this demo cart is suppose to be gold. There was another grey one listed on ebay not too long ago and it ended for quite a nice price. However, it still was never determined rather someone took the sticker off of a gold edition and placed it on a grey cart version or if indeed these things are out there in extremely limited quantities. It looks legit and if it turns out to be so I'd say that you could easily get $50 for this from the collector's of N64 demos. Your best bet is to put it on ebay and let the bidding wars commence.

There are two versions of the "Not For Resale" Majora's Mask cart. The first one is your standard Gold cart, which contains the full game. The second one, and harder to find, is the grey one, and instead of the full game, you can select from several different areas to explore.

The cart I have is the one that lets you chose from different scenarios. I'm laid up at home right now from a surgery so I don't have time but i hope to do a few recordings of the game demo in progress. I'll try to get them up when time allows in a few weeks. Thank you all for your help. Take care!

I used to own this very same cart; the grey one. It was from our Nintendo 64 kiosk (when I used to work at Toys R Us). At one point the store director let me take home a bunch of demos and such, and this was included.

Sadly, I fell on hard times and was forced to sell it along with a bunch of other great items from my collection, back in 2003. It sold for somewhere near $180. At the time, I was pleased, but I wish I'd never sold it. Enjoy it (or the money)!
