Last year was the first year for the show. I went to it, and was pleasantly surprised. Sure, it was held in the basement of a church and there was no air conditioning. But the free Red Bull made it worthwhile. And there were great deals to be had.
This year, they've moved to the Oakland Park Community Center, which has no steps involved, and is air conditioned. Also they say it's bigger.
Just wanted to toss this one into the mix if anyone's in the area, I'll be going for sure. And, the show's free. Can't beat the price.

It's a little bit of a drive but if I don't have anything going on, I wouldn't mind going up and checking it out.

I'm at OSU, so if I don't have a ton of work to do, I am totally going!

I'm attempting to get to CCAG on the week before. I could not get both Saturdays off last year, so I only made CCAG. I'd like to attend. I'm only 90 minutes away and have made the drive enough times not to be bothered by it (5 years at OSU).
Tough that the two events are so close together given that they are about the only events close enough for me to make it to.

I'm going to be in Detroit the weekend of the 1st, which is going to make a trip to CCAG the next weekend economically unfeasible. I'm going to try to pull it off, but driving from Cincy to Cleveland and back isn't exactly a day trip. I'm definitely going to try to make the trip to CORGS as I've never been and it's only 2 hours drive as opposed to 4. We'll see what happens.

My brother-in-law goes with me, he's from Clevland and has family and memories there so any he likes to make the drive (I hold the GPS). 3 an 1/2 hrs. for us. We don't stay at CCAG for more than a couple hours before heading out (usually after the first drawing). We hit up Mr. Hero for a late lunch and then head back, often back to Middletown with some of the day yet remaining.

I went to this last year and had a good time. Mainly catching up with an old freind. Plan on doing it again this year. If anything it is nice to remember and see things from your childhood on display.

I have decided to get a vender table at this to see what's up in C-bus. I will have lots of leftover junk from MGC priced to sell!

I'll probably only be able to afford junk after CCAG.

That'd be cool. I'd like to see a CD32 -- it's one of the systems I have not gotten into yet.
I have a Supergun as well but only have a single PCB. Haven't talked myself into buying more (they aren't that cheap).

I'm getting ready to drive up right now. Should be there a little bit after opening, I suppose.

Good show. Small but not too small. I found some good stuff and passed up some good stuff as well.
Seems to be some new game stores popping up in the Columbus area, particularly Grove Citry -- hope they last.
Brats were great.
Saw the Supergun with the Neo-Geo MVS attached; nice setup.
Nice little collection of PC-Engine games....do you speak/read Japanese? or are they playable for an English only speaker?

I had a decent time at CORGS. Unfortunately, I didn't buy anything on account of having my Atari blinders on and not finding anything that I still needed for my collection. There was a lot of good loot there, nonetheless.

I had a great time. Found some stuff I had been looking for, my RPG collection is growing. My friend Scott won 2 contests while we were there so that was also exciting. The only thing that disappointed me were the people who came with the intention of stealing from the vendors. It is sad that people put time and effort into this event and to have somebody do that.

I am always paranoid that my browsing might look like stealing. I'm afraid to handle stuff unless the vendor is in front of me. I saw a couple of vendors simply wander away from their tables and was scared for them.

I couldn't make it.
My friend's parents own a restaurant and they had someone call off so I was essentially begged to cover for the night. Not a total loss, I ended up making almost $40 in tips. ;)
