80 GB PS3 laser replacement

Hi everyone,

A buddy of mine is looking to replace the laser on his 80 GB PS3. He ordered a laser online, however he thinks it is for a slim PS3. He said it has two lasers on it , instead of just the one. I know nothing about replacing these, so I figured I would toss some questions out to people know more about this than I do.

Does a PS3 Slim have two lasers on it?

Where is a good reputable place to order a replacement from?

For electronics in general, I like to use Dealextreme because most of their stock is very cheap and shipping is free (even on DDR mats) but I have no idea whether or not their PS3 lasers are reliable. From what I could find at Dealextreme, the backwards compatible PS3s seem to have 2 lasers in the one module and the non-bc ps3s have one. If what you ordered has two lasers, it will probably work on a backwards compatible PS3 (some 80GBs are bc, some aren't if memory serves me correctly).
