I found this in my basement along with some other PS2, GCN and GBA games that I bought years ago during an unadvertised Circuit City $5 mass video game blowout that I never got around to opening. Was doing a bit of research to see if any of these games are worth anything, and found one completed eBay auction of a sealed PS2 Substance that went for just over $160. Is this really worth that much? Will this go up in value or should I sell it and make a quick buck?

Some of the other nicer sealed games I found from the same sale that I still have unopened are Resident Evil: Code Veronica and Skies of Arcadia for GCN, and Mega Man and Bass, Golden Sun: The Lost Age, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, and a few other miscellaneous, lesser valued RPGs (Lunar, Lufia and Final Fantasy 1 & 2). Not bad for stuff I forgot I even bought years ago.

It looks like the price hasn't changed much - I sold one 2 years ago for $180, and that was the average going rate then. Same story, I purchased it on clearance cheap but never got around to playing it. I had no problem selling it and replacing it with $25 MGS Essentials instead.

If you sell it, make sure to take lots of up close high resolution pictures. Obviously, the buyer is going to be a collector who is a looking for a mint copy for display and will want to know if there's any type of flaw in the shrinkwrap.
