The multiport s-video cables made for Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox work fine.

I have a Monster cable, and yeah, it was very cheap (I would normally never buy a cable from that company due to their notorious price-gouging), but I still get checkerboard artifacts with it. I wonder if it's just my Super Famicom...O_o

Also yeah, the plugs are extremely tight. I would recommend not even plugging them in as far as you can, as when I did that, I spent literally minutes trying to unplug the cable without breaking something.

Just check ebay, I think I got mine for no more than 10 bucks shipped, and it works great. Yeah it's a no name brand, but it works great.

it is the same s-video cable used for the gamecube and n64

a few years ago, i found a dumb dealer that sold n64 s-video cables for a dollar a piece. they didnt realize the cables could be used for the then modern gamecube

i bought six of them :)

Even dirt cheap, I would not recommend Monster cables ever.

I had a Monster PS2 composite and a Gamecube S-video cable that just stopped working. No pinching or any kind of harsh treatment to the cable. They are LOW quality IMO. Monster Cables look VERY nice but, reliability and quality is crap.

not sure what I have but it works great, it's an xbox/ps/gamecube multi cable. It feels pretty thick, came from goodwill for $1.99

The colors are vivid and the details are sharp, don't recall what it is at the moment.
