everyone remember that SNES style controller for GC that was in the news portion fo the site not too long ago?
i've been scouring the net looking for someplace where i can purchase the things... they are made by Hori, i believe, and they were released early this year in japan.
anyone know of a place where these can be acquired? or a japanese online store that will ship them here? any help would be greatly appreicated.

NCSX, based in the US, great online shop, it's where I got this exact controller.
The controller kicks ass, I can't wait to use it with some GBA 2D greatness.

I've never dealt with them, but they say those controllers are manufactured by Nintendo - which they're not.
Bad sign from the get-go.

Slightly off topic, if you have the GC to GBA cable, can you use the GBA itself as a controller?
Regardless, I'll probably look for one of these - thanks for the links guys.

Yeah. While you're using it it takes up battery power tho heh. It displays "Game Boy Player" on the screen. You still need to have a GCN controller plugged in, however, because you need the Z button access the menu.
