Hero's Quest (Quest for Glory 1)

Loved that game. Spent months finishing it, and maxing my stats :)

Civilization

Without a doubt (for me anyway) the BEST turn based strategy game ever.

I'm amazed that someone else has heard of and enjoys Demon Stalkers - great game. Always seemed so obscure.

Anyway, my list in no order -

Doom
Wolfenstein 3D
Rise of the Triad
Monkey Island
Commander Keen
Captain Comic
Thief Gold

And best ever - Day of the Tentacle.

No particular order

Wizardry
Ultima IV
Bard's Tale III
Unreal Tournament
Diablo II +Expansion
Civilization II
Planetfall
Sorcerer
Might & Magic: Worlds of Xeen
Daggerfall

On a side note, I hated the Doom and Quake series. Beyond the constant shooting and pretty graphics there really wasn't that much of a game.

To each their own I guess

Blizzard's series (Diablo, Warcraft, Starcraft)
The Marathon series
Asperion (a great, addictive Centipede clone)
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 (I got hooked just playing the demo, so imagine...)
Journeyman Project 3 (the only game my mother was ever interested in playing, aside from Ms. Pac-Man and Myst)

Ah, nostalgia. I take it these are to be pre-3D cards? The 286 to 486 era?
In no particular order...

Commander Keen and the whatever it was.
Duke Nukem (2D).
One I think was called Virus.
Monkey Island (which I played more on an Amiga 1200).
Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards.
Jetfighter 2.
DOOM.

Mac:
Prince of Persia on an SE/30 (I played this on mine only weeks ago)
Hellcats.
Wolfenstein.
