View Full Version : Special Edition Gran Turismo 3 discs?

I recently got ahold of a Nissan 380z Special Edition Gran Turismo 3 PS2 disc that came with a Nissan press kit. The game appears to be a demo version of GT3, with the only selectable car being the 380z. The disc was put out by Nissan, not Sony, and supposedly there are other versions for other car manufacturers as well. I've been unable to track down any others, or even a checklist of what's even available.
Anybody else seen one? I can post a pic if anyone's interested.

Wow, that's pretty cool. I've never heard of anything like that before.
Any chance of getting more of them?
A Nissan 300zx one would be sweet. :rocker:

Yeah that sounds really cool. All I knew about was the pack in version with the system and the retain version. Same game, different disks and cases.

Is it a US disc? I recall seeing something similar in Japan a couple of years ago at an auto trade show, with only that manufacturer's cars available. Sorry, forgot who it was...

It's a US disc. The label has "Gran Turismo Nissan 350Z Edition" on it (I goofed, it's not the 380Z, it's the 350Z) and has the Nissan and Sony logos. Part # SCUS-97219.
I'd post a pic but my stupid #**@(! camera isn't working properly right now. >:(

I was all excited until I saw the price. Jesus, $130? I love Gran Turismo, but not quite that much.
