Systems You've Got Less Than 10 Games For...

Of course, if you only got an XBox like...yesterday...you could include that but this I'm more curious about what systems you've had awhile but still have less than 10 games for. I've a few that fall in this area...

Game Boy--I've got both a Pocket Game Boy and a Game Boy Color and have owned both for at least 3 years or so, and I still have maybe 8 games for. The GBC's screen is fairly scratched up (I haven't used the other GB in a long time) so I may just toss it and give/sell the games...I was never much of a portable gamer, I guess, though I do have something like 25 games for my Lynx. I won't be buying a GBA no matter how many games they come out with that link up to the GameCube.

TurboGrafx-16--At one point, I had 8 or 9 games for this but have sold all but 1 of the games for it...I guess you can guess which game I still have for it. I should put it up for sale, I guess. Besides the system and the one game, I do have an old book for it, "The Official TurboGrafx-16 Game Encyclopedia". Maybe offering that would get me an extra 50 cents...

I never really liked the ColecoVision much, so I have only maybe 2 or 3 games for it.

For the NES, I probably have right at 9 or 10 games for it.

TG-16 - 3 games. Got this set-up, boxed, at a garage sale. Haven't even checked it out yet. Although I did give one of the games I originally got with it to my Secret Santa recipient last year on the boards.

SNES - I got my first SNES in a deal that included a MultiGame Hunter. With the MGH I got about 100 3.5" floppies - half had Genesis games, and the other half had SNES games. I probably only have 5 or 6 SNES cartridges.

Microvision - the Microvision itself is broken. I have 3 or 4 boxed carts for it.

Playstation - I got my Playstation in a trade. It included Gran Turismo. Since then I've acquired Medievil (sp?), Rayman, MGS, The Italian Job, Twisted Metal III, Demolition Derby, Vib Ribbon, Guitar Freaks, and Colony Wars. That's exactly 10 games. hmmmm....

I've had my PS2 since last christmas and have only 2 PS2 games. PSX games aplenty but only 2 actual PS2 games.

The XBOX set I'm trading I've had forever, and I only got about 5 games for it ever.

N64 I have two games for, and at any point never had more than 6. However, I think I'll be heading back to gamestop just to grab a "No Mercy".... stupid wrestling addiction.

GBC -- It was a gift from my wife, but I found the games for it to be generally unimpressive. It took the GBA to really hook me on handheld gaming.

Atari 7800 -- I'll probably get more, but I'd have to scour the fleas or start ebaying to get my collection going. I'm just glad that I have Food Fight!

Atari 5200 -- Fewer than ten carts -- but one is the multicart.

N64 -- I may pick up some more later. Who knows?

I've gotten 6 retro or pseudo retro systems in the last 2 months. So far, I don't have 10 games for any of these systems yet.


TurboGrafx-16 - I've only got 4 Hu cards. Waiting for the 5th to be delivered, hopefully today! (Dungeon Explorer, YES!)

Sega Genesis - I've only got 5 carts for the Genny right now.

Super Nintendo - I've got 9 carts for the Super Nes. I bought one off of Ebay that came with 8 games, and I've added one more game to the collection.

Sega Saturn - I've got 6 Sega Saturn games so far.

Atari Jaguar - I've only got one single game for the Jag. Cybermorph. Looking to add some more Jag games, but don't want to be desperate and pay too much.

Nintendo 64 - I've got 6 N64 carts.

XBox: 9

I've had the Xbox for a year, the 'Cube for 2, and the PS2 for 3 (approx.). For the longest time I had as many Xbox games as 'Cube games (and about 25ish PS2 games). Well, now I've still only got 9 Xbox games and I'm past 20 'Cube games (and still at 25ish PS2). There just ain't much exclusive stuff I like for Xbox. The 'Cube is my fav of the current gen right now.

TG16 stuff I never see in the wild around here. Believe me, I'd buy *anything* at this point. Same goes for the Jag. I'd love to get something but there ain't nothing to get here. eBay isn't an option in my mind.

The 32X I probably won't bother buying anything else for. I never play it, and nothing really comes to mind as something I'd want.

Everything else is above 10 but not by much in some cases (I've got exactly 10 SMS games for example).

Played a few games a lot (Final Fantasy Legend & Adventure, Metroid II, Zelda: Link's Awakening), but I only had the Super Game Boy, and Super NES games called to me a lot more often.

Yup, it's Mario Tennis. I haven't really cared enough to go out of my way looking for other games, especially since the thing stays in the box for the most part.

Atari Lynx - 0
I can't ever remember seeing a Lynx game in Edmonton, although I did manage to find this sucker for $30.

Coleco Vision/ADAM - 3
I've got the ADAM, not the CV, and there's not nearly enough space to keep that beast hooked up.

Just a rough guess on my part. I just have the computer, with no joystick, so most of the games are no good to me yet.

Did you know that any joystick that will work on an Atari 2600 will also work on a VIC-20?

Sega CD: 4 games. Need to get some more, this system was cool.

NGPC: 3 games. Sonic Pocket, Bust-a-Move Pocket, and King of Fighters R-2. This was a great handheld, and I can't find any other games for it (I don't really like eBay).

VCS: 8 carts.

GBA: 6 games. Got it right before CGE 2001, and I didn't get any games for it until like 2 months later.

Gamecube: 6 games. Still haven't beaten Eternal Darkness. Can't figure out that damn guardian monster, but a great game.

Game Gear: 4 games.
