I did a search for this in the arcade section but I couldn't find anything but if this already exists then please point me towards it.
My awesome girlfriend is getting me a red tent VS system for our anniversary, there is a slight problem with it but that's for another topic after I get it.
For now I'm just wondering what are the best games to get for it. I'm looking at DR Mario since she loves that game but I'm not sure what else to look for.
Thanks

Personally, Vs. Excitebike is my favorite. The qualifying races actually mean something (and are solo while the actual races have other riders). Course layout is more interesting and there are bonus stages where you jump off ramps over trucks.

You can shoot the dog in a minigame on Vs. Duck Hunt. Now you can finally get that bastard back for years of psychological abuse.

Ok so since there have been a few people respond and I've gotten a really great answer that explained why, which is my fault for not asking in the first place.
What are the best games and why?
Do they add extra features that were on the NES versions of the games?

I remember VS Super Mario Bros being quite different than the NES version, but my memory could be a bit fuzzy...

Yes. The warp zones are different. There is no warp zone to world 8.
And I have no idea if the arcade game can do the minus world. Has anyone tried doing the minus world trick on the arcade SMB?
And Blur is right... I totally forgot about Vs. Balloon Fight.
