View Full Version : Final Fight: Double Impact Press Kit
I just ordered one of these to sit next to my Mega Man Press Kit. Looks pretty cool with only 300 being made. It's almost sold out, here's the link if anyone wants to order.

$60 plus shipping (the least expensive of which is $8) and tax for a t-shirt in a foam rubber barrel, a small can of hair dye, a cassette tape and a tiny button and a token is the very definition of gouging. Gonna pass on this one.

And how much did the Mega Man 9 press kit cost again? And it didn't even include a friggin' shirt. :P
$60 ain't so bad.

Do I get this, or 3D Dot Game Heroes? This looks good, but you can't really play with it!

I think I'll just pick up Alan Wake instead.

It's not really $60 though, it's $68 plus tax meaning around $75 in California. The Mega Man kit was an actual press kit with a cool custom box, hand manufactured NES cartridge/case and a press disc. This is just a small container of swag, several items of which will not hold up to long term storage. The hair dye in a spray can needs to be taken out immediately as it will eventually leak and the foam rubber barrel will dry out and crack in a few years. That leaves a cassette tape, a t-shirt, a pin and a token. Are those items worth $70-$75? I don't think so.

People've paid up the ass for a plastic Batarang, toy nightvision goggles, and a stupid foot locker.
Besides, it's just a collectible. Meant for collectors.

I'll buy anything... but this just isn't doing it for me. The kit might as well be for Donkey Kong if it wasn't labeled as such. Pass.

$60 is a pricey indeed, but you've got to admit, the stuff is cool. $60 worth? No, but it's very nice swag indeed.
I'd love to walk around in a "Vote for Mike Haggar" T-Shirt.

I dunno, I think it's pretty cool. I also bought one. Final Fight is one of my all time favorite games though.

Yeah, especially considering someone just paid $31,600 for a horrible Atari 2600 game he'll probably never even play.

I don't think 60 is a bad price for this, I'm just not a Final Fight fan. But the barrel is pretty cool.

It sort of looks like they repurposed leftover DK bongos.
