Hey guys,
New to the forum here.

I think that this is a pirated-import Mega Drive Japanese Sega Version of Michael Jackson's Moon Walker game. Here are the links to some of the pictures.

I was wondering if it is indeed a pirate copy, how much will I be able to get for the game and where can I sell/list it?

I have no idea if this is one of those rarities, novelty items for collectors since they stopped making them a long time ago.

Any ideas on prices and places to sell will be totally appreciated.

Also attaching a picture of Sega Game Gear "Berlin Wall" here. Not sure how rare the game is or how much it'd go for either.

Thanks in advance!!

Yup that's a pirated copy of Moonwalker, I only just started getting into pirated Mega Drive games so I wouldn't be able to give you a good idea on how much it's worth. Never heard of the Game Gear game you have, looks interesting and I hope somebody can help you out with info for it. After about 10 days you will be able to see the Buy/Sale section of the forums here, so you could always put both up on here and see if anybody might want them.

Thanks for the response - do you know if a pirated copy like this is going to go for much cheaper than an original game?

Or is it seen as a rare novelty piece?

I'm really not sure how much it would go for honestly, my guess would be much less than an actually official copy. All the pirate Mega Drive games I've bought so far have been under $10 except for my pirate copy of Bare Knuckle 3, but I figured that was because Bare Knuckle 3 is usually in high demand be it a pirate or legit copy.

Single game pirates of official titles are always going to be cheaper than the original game. Hacks, mods, X-in-1s can be more expensive, depending.

yes, there's no reason a pirated copy of an official game would sell for more or equal to the official copy. It's just a pirate after all.
