Is anyone excited about this game?

I got it the day it came out, played it for about a week and haven't touched it since. The hd graphics are nice but no NFL teams or players is a big drawback. Sure, you can edit them yourself but I don't want to spend the time plus you can't play edited rosters online.

As far as the online goes, I played one game and my opponent disconnected on the last play of the game when I was winning. There's no penalty for disconnects and I didn't get the win either. Funny thing is Tecmo knows about this but they said they weren't planning on patching it any time soon.

i want to play online as the San Fran Flaming Queers but i guess that aint going to happen now. god damn lol

the game is new so ill give it a month or so before someone makes up a roster

Whenever I get my 360 back from Microsoft, I will likely be ordering this one up. The only thing that stinks is that the code appears to be based off the 16-bit Tecmo Super Bowl games as opposed to the classic NES one. Still looks good though, and since I don't plan to play much online unless it's with friends, I can deal with those issues.

I downloaded the demo, played for 5 minutes and got my fill. It's neat but I dunno how much use I'd get out of it; that $10 could go towards many other things that would hold my interest longer.

This. I was suckered into paying full price for the DS version and I really didn't play that one all that much, either. That's why I have all the Tecmo Bowls on NES, SNES , and Genny. It's just not the same without the players.

i play the ds version every so often. i loved the whole custom team thing. just making up names for the players makes me happy. like A. Blackguy, A. Tacofart and I. Amgay.

i never really cared much for the gen and snes versions cuz bo jackson wasnt in them. but i still thought tecmo bowl is and was better than madden.

The custom player this is quite amusing. I always hated playing the raiders. Using Bo was almost like cheating.
