Same with me. Not sure about five years but I put Seiken Densetsu down for quite awhile(years) only to pick it back up later on and decide to restart the game, got stuck for an hour same exact part then found out what to do. Other than that part it's an awesome game. The remake is decent, but the original is much better.

I'm not sure what has happened over the path month or two, but it looks like a bunch of people too stupid to use GameFAQs have shown up to dump verbal diarrhea all over our nice, clean floors. The stupid/annoying quotient is building to dangerously high levels, and while I haven't seen anything worth banning people over yet, rest assured we're watching and taking notes.
