Congrats man! That's a sweet collection. The Ecco guide reminds me of something; when I was really young (maybe around 9 or 10..) I bought that guide, despite not having a DC. I just wanted to look at the pictures! LOL

Congratulations! it's always nice when a goal set forth is achieved. It must be nice to walk into the room and see completion.

I noticed two of the games below the strategy guides do not have manuals, are or were you collecting for the sake of game discs or entire completion of each?

But... but you lack all of the official colored game controllers and VMUs complete with caps! And where is your Sonic Dreamcast console with Sonic Adventure, Sonic Shuffle, and Sonic Adventure 2 demo pack-ins?! No, no, this doesn't add up at all! You're only "99% collector!" ;)

Nice. I'm only 61 games into mine =(

Didn't Samba De Amigo come in a huge wooden box with the maracas? Chu chu rocket and outtrigger came in large boxes? Huh..never knew that.

Anyway, congrats man.

Samba came as a game, the maracas came in a cardboard box with just the maracas in it. The two other games you are looking at are the Japanese versions, Chu Chu came with a controller, and Outtrigger came with the mouse packed in.

Out of curiosity, do you (the OP) have Sonic Adventure LE? I'm curious what that game is worth nowadays if you happened to get it recently :)

Just wanted to drop my 2 cents for a job well done. Dreamcast is a great system and even though there aren't a tonne of US games to collect it's still not easy.

This thread motivated me to get after a few games I am missing/wanting so thanks for that and best of success on your next adventure.

They're still in the 50 range. There were some being sold (that looked brand new) a few months ago for less than that on ebay and as the seller moved them, his prices went up some, but they were still under 50.

And where is your Sonic Dreamcast console with Sonic Adventure, Sonic Shuffle, and Sonic Adventure 2 demo pack-ins?! No, no, this doesn't add up at all! You're only "99% collector!" ;) There were more pack in games than those three. NFL/NBA 2K and the NFL/NBA/WSB 2K1 also got the treatment. You forgot the Sega SmashPack Vol 1 pack in as well.

Sonic Adventure had 4 versions. Retail, Pack in (w/ bonus Sonic 2 Demo disc), SAS and Sonic LE.

Congrats on your accomplishment. I am about 1/3 of the way done with DC myself. Is there any one title that really eluded you?

I would guess Sonic Adventure LE since he still has a WTB for it up in the buy/sell sub-forum. I recently got a disc/insert copy myself but am on the hunt for a full one.

nicely done looking forward to the update. I had a nice little gamers set for DC the system was brand new (somehow unused for many years) and came with some nice accessories and oh 100 or more games but this is a beautiful collection I will have to try this someday myself congrats again!

Great collection, congrats!! I'm working on my NES collection now, it'll prolly never be 100% complete, but I'm really enjoying it.
