Castlevania: Lament of Innocence - Anti-Soul Mysteries Lab
Never played this game, but at some point I ran across this song from one of its levels. Man, this thing is freakin awesome. Gets me going EVERY single time.

R Type 3 Level 5 Theme
Absolutely love this one. Something creepy and frenetic about it that gives tension and adrenaline at the same time. It builds and builds and then explodes.

I would like to hear some of your favorites. If you can, please try to post ONLY sound clips and NOT actual video game footage, since the explosions etc sometimes drown out and adulterate the music. :)

China Town Revenge of Shinobi. I don't know why, but when I first heard it, I started laughing. Something hilarious about this tune. :)

Silent Hill Opening Theme. Eerie and melodic...very nice.

Wild Arms Opening. Jovial and lighthearted. A nice upbeat bouncy and catchy tune.

Goldeneye and Perfect Dark on the N64 have always been my favorite video game tunes,then again,anything by Rare the music is amazing,especially Caverns in Goldeneye,so dark and mysterious,and Chicago in Perfect Dark,so sad and fitting for the level.

Then there's Sonic music,I could listen to the Chemical Plant theme over and over again,just as I did as a child. The Bridge Zone from the SMS version of Sonic The Hedgehog is also one of my fav's,the 16bit remix is amazing as well. Of course Sonic CD has it's unique soundtrack as well.

Mario,well duh,any music from the Mario games is memorable and classic,my fav being the Super Mario World castle music. Rainbow Road from Mario Kart 64 another fav. And break the targets from Super Smash Brothers Melee,I could listen to that for hours.

As far as modern games go,Halo has a killer soundtrack,all three...five...uh how many are there now? Anyway the original is the best in my opinion. Also Red Faction the original,had some really epic music as well,it added to the mood of the game,of course Eos and Hendrex had to keep interrupting it!!

Age Of Empires The Rise of Rome had some interesting MIDI's,especially XMusic2 being my fav. There are so many more to list,it just goes on and on,video game music in itself is amazing and will be memorable for years to come.

I second PSO menu theme. Even PSO III which was a bit lacklustre gameplay wise had some beautiful tunes.

Pretty much the entire Chrono Trigger soundtrack I could listen to repeatedly.

The 'Fall' theme from Harvest BTN, Winter theme from HM: Snes.

The Azure Dreams soundtrack.
Skies of Arcadia's Imperial Armada theme and general soundtrack.
The Town Battle theme (Circus battle) from Shining Force.
Shining Force III soundtrack.
Star Ocean II soundtrack.
Zelda: OoT/WW soundtracks.
