I really really enjoyed the demo.

I generally enjoyed the PS2 era 3D Mortal Kombat games, but since they dynamically changed/evolved the play style of the series, what this entry brings is a genuine feel of nostalgia, the same way a Street Fighter II fan felt when Capcom rolled out Street Fighter IV after countless MvsC type games.

It plays like a classic MK game without most of the "stiffness" that came with the photo-sprites. You can feel the attention to detail and the passion to get back to the roots of the game.

It's the most fun I've had with MK since MK II and I'm absolutely going to pick this one up at launch or shortly thereafter.

When I heard MK was getting rebooted, I honestly didn't care. I never got into 3D fighters, so I hadn't played an MK game since MK Trilogy. Then I saw that it was going to be 2D and I flipped out! I've been playing the demo at work, it's awesome. Feels just like good old MKII, but with some Street Fighter-esque super moves thrown in for good measure. Definitely a game to pick up!

Now I just have to decide what I want more, achievements or Kratos.

Same choice I'm trying to make. Allthough I could give 2 shits less about the achs other then the novelty, I certainly am thinking about purchasing a PS3. Kratos was made for this F'in game!

Is the demo only on the PS3? I didn't see it in the 360 demo section and I still haven't really looked around PSN that much.

Yup, it's only on the PS3 for now. I downloaded it this morning and was surprised to be able to play as Mileena. I like what I played so far.

Yeah, usually demos just give you two characters. I fully expected it to just be Sub-Zero and Scorpion, but they threw in Mileena and Cage as well. Very nice.

Here are the rumored (http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2011/04/06/mortal-kombat-xbox-360-exclusives-revealed.aspx) 360 version exclusives. Some of them seem ok(if they turn out to be true) but I'd really like an exclusive character like the PS3 is getting with Kratos.
