So I was looking through my 360 games and I noticed that some games contain free, temporary subscriptions to Xbox Live Gold. For instance, the BK games used to come with free, 48-hour Gold cards and my Live Vision camera came with a nice, one month subscription.
I had Gold for at least one month (thanks to the code on the cam). However, today I wanted to use one of the other cards, like the ones that came with the BK games and:
1)The codes had expiration dates.
2)They did not work.
I plan on getting the Xbox Live Gold Pack (the one that has 12 months, chat pad, etc), but I am currently saving money for this.
My questions are:
1)Do these "expired" codes really expire? I keep conflicting reports: some say yes, others say no.
2)Does anyone have a spare, recent (still valid) 48 hour card they can spare? I would really like to buy a game on the marketplace, the "Special of the Week" before it expires.
I don't want to buy a 3 month card, since I plan on getting the pack mentioned above soon (a week or two from now).
Speaking of the Xbox 360, if I install a game on the console, finish the game, and then remove the installation (from the dashboard, where one choose to either play the game, download DLC, and "delete" the game, will all the saves associated with the game be deleted as well?
Also, how can I backup my game saves? In which folder exactly?
Thanks in advance everyone!
