Hey folks, I know this is only somewhat related to games, but I recently got a pair of the common type of red-cyan 3-D glasses, and felt like making some 3-D shots of my own.
These aren't so polished, but at least they're game related. Enjoy!

Take a picture, move camera to the right 2-10cm, take another picture. Then remove all green+blue information from the 1st picture, remove all red info from the 2nd, and overlay them.
Colour pictures have the best realism, but sometimes if there are too many red or blue/cyan objects in the original picture, black&white pictures work best.

I can actually draw in anaglyph, by hand. But it's quite tedious, and takes a long time.
All you need is an orange colored pencil, and a non-photo blue pencil.
The more depth you want, you draw the blue portion to the left. For something sticking out of a panel, you draw the blue to the right.

Seems like a bit of a process just for a picture. Are there any programs that do this?

Most image editing software and just a few minutes of your time. It's not that much of a process(maybe tweaking everything for the best effect but you'd probally do that with special software anyways). But I'm sure there's plenty of anaglyph image creators out there. There's even plug-ins that will do it for PC games.

Technically it can be done with a single image in something like Photoshop, although all you get is the view distance effect. Proper way is with two distinct photos from different positions.
