New projects a Cabal original cab and a Defender cab which is gutted and no monitor. The Cabal cab doesn't work. Both for $100.00 and includes a Double Dragon board and marquee which works. Since my father works in electronics he will check out the boards for issues. And I do monitor repair so getting some monitors cheap shouldn't be a problem.
+ My arcades Tekken1,2,3 and Tag tournament.
+ A converted cab to Mame running Mamewah and 1200+ games on a 2.8 p4 2 gig of ram and geforce 9800 series card.
+ Soul Calibur
+ Donkey Kong Coctail table with installed DKII Foundry Level High Score chip
soon Cabal And Double Dragon

How would you be able to ride two taxis at the same time?

They could be at two different times. Or he could pay one taxi driver to ride alongside the other so he could jump out of one car into the other.

Cab is not a taxi it is short for cabinet. I'm picking up 2 Arcade Cabinets which are basically stripped down to just almost nothing.

And you are transporting these in the two taxis?

Haha wow, this went straight off topic.

Are all the cabs in the first post being picked up, or just the Defender and Cabal?

Also a 9800 is overkill for a MAME cab...I'd love to have one in the machine I'm running, just an old 8800 GTS. A 6800 would probably still be more than enough. Or is that a Radeon? That kind of card certainly could run on the motherboard supporting 2.8 GHz P4s...the Geforce 9800 by comparison is a new card.

He decided to keep the cabal cab but I picked up the defender with double dragon cpo, marquee and pcb board for $50.00. The other cabs listed are cabs I own. I ended up with 3 of these cards for free from my job due to error in order. You know how the gov works spend money to get money and my boss asked me if I wanted them so I jumped on it and said yes. Of course the boss happens to be my dad.

Sounds like a pretty good deal! I search eBay from time to time looking for a cheap Double Dragon board and with shipping they seem to hover around $40-$50, so I'd say you got your money's worth. Post some pictures when you can and spend some time this summer putting that cabinet to use!

Actually, now that the more modern 3-D games are starting to work - My Athlon X2 with an ATI 4850 barely can keep up.

And I guarantee by the end of the year, they'll have Naomi emulation working, and that will eat even quad or 6 core PC's alive..

It still suprises me that the MAMEdev team has utililzed GFX cards to their fullest potentials, yet. Most games are still CPU dependent.

He could just stretch his legs and put 1 buttock in 1 taxi driving alongside

He could just stretch his legs and put 1 buttock in 1 taxi driving alongside while using his phone camera to record videos of him playing Altered Beast on his Sega Nomad.

Fixed.
