If possible, a Virtual Boy collection would pique my interest. I never got to mess around with a VB and would love a chance to actually play the games. Of course Nintendo will wait a couple years after 3DS launches before ever discussing it, they'll be careful not to connect this 3D experiment with their last one.

I've also had this thought cross my mind in recent days. A collection of Virtual Boy games would be nice. From all accounts I've seen (Never played one), the software wasn't the problem. It was the uncomfortable hardware that did the thing in despite having several nice games developed for it.

I'd also love to see a retail Game & Watch Collection for the DS, but it seems like they'd rather leave those as Nintendo Club exclusives with a handful of games on each or sell them as DSiWare games.

A quick, cheap way to colorize VBoy games would be similar to Super GameBoy's color palettes, plus individually colorized sprites.

Though I doubt Nintendo would seriously consider such retro-looking titles for their next portable console. They're pretty insistent on the 3DS being a high-end 3D optical machine. It would send the wrong message to consumers to ship a VBoy collection so soon in the console lifeline.
