Ok, so a guy on my modding fourms (This guy is reputable and legit)
Has a Xbox 360 with e71 error that works some of the time, with hook ups, 1 controller, and 5 games

After showing him things i have, he wants either:

A coleco vision, works, hook-ups, and maybe some common games like donkey kong and that sort

or

a intellivion, works, but one of the brass disks has fallen off the second crontroller

maybe a game? dunno

Or, 30 buckeroni's

Sound fair to you guys? I thinking the games and controllers alone are worth the deal. The xbox 36, ehh, ive wanted one for awhile now, so it'll be sweet if i end up getting it.

Why would you want a broken 360?

Is there any other kind?

Exactly what i wanted to hear. I probably cant fix it, but since it works some of the time, then its good enough for me to play Castle crashers. Plus,, 5 games? worth it right there my man.

Edit:

Since i have no money, im thinking of doing the coleco bundle. Sound good?

30 Bucks is a deal all day long. Even if the games are crappy, if they are good titles it could be an amazing deal.

But if it doesn't work...?

Who gives a shit, the controller and 5 games are worth $30. If there is a HD on the 360, it's even more worth it. Can't you even trade in broken systems for $25 or something like that? It's a no-lose deal.

Has the system been opened up is what I wonder. Because if not you might be able to get M$ to fix it for you.

Totally worth it. On eBay you can probably get $20-30 for the broken console, $15-30 for the controller (depending on if its wired or wireless), and more for the game depending on what they are. Maybe even more if the HDD is included. And if the seal isn't broken you can say it has RROD and send it to MS.

Unless he planned on playing the games.

If he's looking to make this deal to resell the stuff then sure it's a more than fair deal because yeah, a controller and 5 360 games are worth more than a few Coleco games but from reading the OP it seems like he's making this deal to play these games which would be difficult to do on a broken 360. And yeah, I see that it works "some of the time" but the fact that it's also doesn't work some of the time would probably be a deal breaker for me. Of course this is just my opinion but that's what I though the OP was looking for.

My Stance on the deal:

Id like to play the games if i can, but if not, To the trade thread they go.
