Sooooo...I'm looking at my suitcase, and looking at the stack of carts and other goodies I've been building up to bring out with me for autograph purposes, and...wow. With this year's lineup, trying to get one game signed by everyone is going to be a daunting task. So here's a dumb question from a CGE virgin (bear with me)...is there ample signing space on the CGE programs? I'm trying not to lug too much stuff around the floor with me (I'll already be hauling two cameras, maybe a tripod, around as it is), and so I'm looking for an easy solution. I'm sure as heck not bringing marquees with me, not with the way airline baggage handlers do things. :P

This year's program is far from finalized, but last year there were boxes with the bio "brief" of each alumni-person, and even an entire page near the back specifically marked "autographs". I think this year will be at least that accomodating!

Another thought that's occurred...for autographs of darker items (say, carts), do we need to be carrying special pens around (like the silvered ink sort of thing)? I was just looking over a few things I was thinking about bringing, and realizing that your usual black ink wouldn't do the trick. :/

I would say that a special pen wouldn't be a bad idea if you want people signing your carts. But there was a lot of space for signing on the program last year.

Usually we have 2 pages in the show program blank just for autographs. Then, you also have the bio pages that could be signed.

I always have a silver sharpie or other type of special pen for signing carts and other dark items.

What to get signed?

Body parts! Programmers love it when you whip out your favorite body part for them to sign. Just try it and see... :D

Seriously though I've spent the last two expos running around getting autographs on various carts (including my Quadrun :o ). Like John said I suggest a black Sharpie for most items, and possibly a silver or gold pen for the dark items.
