Tell me about Crisis Core packaging...

So I'm in Canada, and trying to find the best copy to buy.

As you may or may not know, Canadian versions often omit the inside cover art for PSP and PS3 games. They must print them somewhere else, since they add French language.

It's trivial... but I want that inside cover art!

Here are the versions I've seen:

-Standard Canadian version (No inside art - I don't want this)
-Silver Gamestop exclusive version (cute.. but I don't care. I want color. I assume it has inside art but I don't remember looking).
-A US version, that does have inside art... but it's black and white.

Here's the question..... Am I crazy, or do I remember seeing a US version of crisis core with COLOR inside cover art? Most of the US versions I've seen recently have B&W inside art. I could totally be wrong, but I just want to be sure.

the silver one is best buy exclusive, not gamestop. and its pretty damn hard to find [new].

i never opened my copy so i dont know the inside art/color etc.

also they originally came w/ a SHIN-RA umd case (each holds 2)

I have the Silver edition and the inside art is B&W, but looks like that's what it originally meant to be. The instruction manual is colored tho, not fully colored, but the in game screen shots/character drawings are colored. Also, the Silver edition was the Best Buy exclusive, at least here in the states.

I thought the UMD case was a pre-order incentive for Gamestop. Best Buy had the silver case version for a while, but never bundled with the bonus.

I can also confirm that my colored insert is not in color on the inside. Feel free to pick-up whichever version; color or silver.

Ah I was wrong.. It was Best Buy, not Gamestop (perhaps it was sold at Future Shop here in Canada, but that's owned by BB).

So it's safe to say that the normal US package has B&W inside art?

I purchased the normal version because I wasn't going to drive 40 minutes just for a different cover and yes, the inside cover on the normal one is Crisis Core FF7 with black on one side, and white with the characters on the other side in black and white.

Though I'm sure the game is greatest hits by now so if you look for the game you might want to find one on Ebay new that isn't greatest hits.
