R type final PS2 help thanks!

anybody here has played or knows whatdetermans the ships you unlock in Final?
I'm trying to unlockevery shipbut i don't know what makes it so you d unlock a ship, are their codes or cheats to this game thanks!

PS. I'M USING THE AUSTRALIAN VERSION OF THE GAME

Infinite loop in flight path

At the very end of Stage 3.0 (Battleship Raid) you have to destroy four plates to get to the boss. If you move your ship to the very upper left corner and do not destroy any of the plates, the game will not begin the boss fight and you can spend an unlimited amount of time in the stage. This is a great way to unlock ships without having to play through the entire game.

thanks for the guide. on the Eropue version (stage 3.0) the hull destroys it''sfelf if you wait to long. and boss battle engages.

any videos f doing this cheet? thanks!


is it just me or isd the hole playtime thing just a cheap way
to make the gamplay longer without entering challanges Ect.

and why inthe AI ode dose it come up with controlls to make you think it's a real 2 player battle, what would have been so hard to make it like a actual controllable 1 on 1 fight?
