I am coruious about this so speak up. This is not for arcade conversions on to consoles but the actual cabnet.

Japanese Makaimura, Shadow Dancer or Contra. Though there's a Cow Boys of Moo Mesa cabinet somewhere in my region ;)

There are so many kick-ass games, but I'd say it's between South Park Pinball, DDR (3rd Mix or newer), Guitar Freaks, Virtual ON, or Tempest for me. (But a Cliffhanger machine would be good too... or a Missile Command...too...many...choices...)

I'm rather disappointed that nobody's mentioned Revolution X >:(

Heh...with its incredibly cheap cabinet artwork, you can see "Laramie" on the gun's side (for the cabinet artwork again). Bah. A Darkstalkers upright (any of the Japanese ones, really) would be great.

If I ever have a small windfall, though, I'd get that $650 Atomiswave system with the complete Guilty Gear v 1.5 package that's I've been watching for a while. Nice stuff.

The Simpsons (4-Player beat-em-up by Konami)
DDR 4th Mix
Guitar Freaks
Metal Slug (any title)

4 slot MVS cab

Only 4?

I'd go with 6 slot Japanese myself. One of the nice big ones (though most of the japanese Neo Geo MVSes weren't as nice looking as the US ones).

Robotron: 2084

A Dance ManiaX machine would be rad, since it's the type of game that simply can't be played at home, but I think I would be very bored of that type of game very fast.

Other than that, there are very few games I would want from the arcade. a Street Fighter II cab (since it's the greatest modern arcade game) and a MAME'd arcade cabinet like christian scott has would be great, though. I like NeoGeo, but frankly I can't see a game like Fatal Fury being much better on an MVS cab than on a DC with arcade sticks, y'know? Same with Virtual On vs. DC w/ Twin Sticks.

If we're talking new games, I'll take Virtua Cop 3. It's a fucking fantastic game and even the gun is awesome. Smash TV or Space Harrier would also find a welcome place in my home.

Metal Slug 2, and Marvel vs. Capcom 8-), nothing classic really but i grew up with metal slug 2, sort of. Its in the Roscoe Diner, i go there every 6 months or so on the way to see my aunt in upstate new york. As for marvel vs capcom a local arcade used toi have it and its my all time favorite fighter.

I'd go with a cockpit version of Sinistar, a Discs of Tron Environmental , or cockpit Spyhunter.

I once owned a Tiger Heli, which is a decent game. Once I played through it a few times I didn't want to play it any more and it turned into a dust collector. I ended up selling it a garage sale and losing around $200 on it.

If I were to get another cabinet it would have to be one of my favorite games of all time and look great. I'd go for a Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Mario Brothers, Star Wars, or Tron (or DoT) game.

Some guy in town made a major score and bought 18 pristine games. The guy he bought them from got the games new for his kids in the early eighties. They were home use only and are just about perfect. Included was a DK and DK Jr., which he wouldn't sell to me :(

Not to be a smartass, but why a Playchoice? What, the NES not good enough for you?

Personally, I'd be down with Tempest, Robotron, Smash TV, or Discs of Tron environmental (yeah, wouldn't everyone?)

I'd have to go with a Space War cabinet. I love that friggin game.

Runners up would have to include a neo geo MVS 6 slot with Fatal Fury Special, Andro Dunos, League Bowling, Blazing Star, Neo Bomberman, and bust a move.

the NES is my favorite system, it has my favorite games. with the pc10 i can play them arcade style and can also buy new games for it if i get tired of the ones that i have. i also enjoy collecting and the pc10 is perfect for that.

I'd definitely get a Tron machine as a first choice. Star Wars, Gauntlet and Operation Wolf are on my list too though.

Are you talking about Guilty Gear X version 1.5, or is there some arcade edition of the original Guilty Gear that I don't know about?

Anyway, I'd get one of those cool Japanese sit-down cabinets with ESP Ra.De. It's one of my favorite shooters, and it wasn't ported to any home system.

If that was out of the question, I'd take a CPS-2 system with either Alien vs. Predator or Battle Circuit.

For my third choice, I'd go with a six-slot Neo-Geo and Pulstar, Super Baseball 2020, Samurai Spirits 2, Puzzle De Pon, Magical Drop 3, and the first Metal Slug.

And I'm afraid that I would even want BloodStorm if I could get it for peanuts.

Why not go for a Vs. system? It runs on basically an NES, and damn near all the game versions for it are superior, or at least different, from their NES counterparts. Example-Ice Climbers has a level select and better sound. SMB has different layouts for the levels. Etc, Etc. ;)

My experience with Playchoice systems isn't a good one, as I remember putting one of my quarters in one as a kid and wasting half of my time on the machine because none of the buttons would get me past the instruction screen. And of course, my quarter supply was low as a kid, so, annoyance abounds.

Yeah, that's kinda where I was headed with my comment. At least the Vs. games are different. If you want an arcade feel with the NES, I'm sure you could build a controller. It'd be cheaper anyway.

Hey, what ever floats yer boat tho. :)

Golden Axe: Revenge of Death Adder. My fave.
I second 4-player TMNT.
Aliens vs. Predator. 4-player. Addicting. Play as a Predator--how fucking cool is that?
Neo Geo with Samurai Shodown & Metal Slug & Bust-a-Move, like the one I played everyday 10 years ago (wow)
Raiden II.

I am currently dealing on a arkanoid system. It is mint, the cabnet is great, the monitor, everything. Hope I get it, would be sweet.

If it can be MAME'd 100% (most all joystick games, etc.) then I'll skip it.

Games that have personality are all that are worth it. Most of the Vector games are great, but to keep em running is a bitch.

Sinistar with the 360 joystick is up there. Millipede.. The huge trackball is awesome.

Whoops, I forgot the X. Yep, nothing new here.

Bloodstorm?
